With over 20 years experience in the real estate field, I have more experience than the majority of agents out there! I have also earned the highly acclaimed GRI® designation (Graduate – Realtor Institute), a nationally recognized designation held by less than 5% of all Realtors®. In addition, I hold the e-Pro ® designation-which means I have advanced training in the latest technology and social media to promote your property or find your next home. E-PRO® is the only technology certification to be officially recognized, endorsed, and conferred by the National Association of REALTORS®. I am also a Certified Negotiation Expert® and am duly licensed in both Minnesota and Wisconsin.
As well as being a successful Realtor, I also have real estate management experience-this is crucial when you need someone with experience. During my four years as Vice President for HomeAvenue, I built the company from a 3 person ‘For Sale” sign rental company to a powerhouse in the industry by recruiting, hiring, training and managing a team of 24 agents and 9 staff members. In addition to my real estate experience, I hold a B.A. in Communications with a minor in Psychology. Although not a requirement to sell real estate, I find that having a college degree in this career is crucial since it requires a diverse skill set that touches on law, finance, communications, marketing and psychology.
Besides Real Estate, I also have 15 years of professional sales experience- including multi-million dollar accounts- with 8 of those years also in sales management. Many agents in the business go to the classes, take a test, get licensed and then start to ask for your business. This is one of the most important purchases or sales of your life. There is so much more than putting a sign in the yard, entering your information on the MLS or writing up a purchase agreement. No one WANTS anything to go wrong, but if it does, you want someone who understands the real estate business and transaction process inside and out. I do.
